Ply Gem Expands in Columbus County
FAIR BLUFF | Building products maker Ply Gem Industries will expand its North Carolina operations, creating 145 jobs and investing $15.5 million over the next three years in Fair Bluff, Gov. Pat McCrory announced Wednesday.
Cary-based Ply Gem makes exterior building products in North America and currently employs more than 100 people in North Carolina.
Salaries will vary by job function, but the average annual salaries for the new jobs will be $45,730, plus benefits, the governor's office said.
In return for its investment, Ply Gem will receive a performance-based grant of $150,000 from the One North Carolina fund.
The grant is contingent upon proof of job creation and receipt of a local funding match.
