Kroy to Add 127 New Jobs in Fair Bluff

Kroy Building Products in Fair Bluff will see a major expansion over the next three years.

Gov. Pat McCrory’s announcement said that 145 new jobs would be created; 127 of those jobs are expected to be at the Fair Bluff facility with the remainder at corporate headquarters in Cary. In all, Kroy is expected to invest $15.5 million in Fair Bluff in the next three years.

Although salaries will vary by job function, it was reported that the 127 new jobs in Fair Bluff will pay an average of $45,730 (plus benefits) annually, which would infuse $5.8 million in additional yearly payroll into the local economy. Columbus County’s current average annual wage is $31,605 according to the governor’s office.
